Captain's Apartments

The steep walk down from Captain's to Kini Village and Beach has quite a few stairs. Allow about 15 minutes downhill and twice that to come back unless you're a very fit hill walker. We rented a car after trying it once, which also let us see more of the island. There is an island bus, but it only runs once an hour and often doesn't follow the schedule. Captain's is a peaceful spot with an incredible view from the room. This was our first trip to the Greek Islands, and waking up and going to bed to that view was amazing. The room was comfortable, staff were lovely, and breakfast each morning was fresh and local. We visited several beaches, but Kini Village and Beach were our favourite. We'd come back again.

Elsa and her family gave us such a warm welcome, and everyone on the team was lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The spectacular view from the rooms, comfortable accommodation, and fresh, tasty breakfast each morning made our two-week break so enjoyable. We're really glad we chose Captain’s for our holiday in Syros. Thanks to everyone!

We had a garden view the first night, then were offered an ocean-view upgrade for nights two and three. While we were out exploring the island, they even moved our luggage for us. The rooms were clean and well equipped, breakfast on the terrace was delicious, and the view of the town below was beautiful.

The room was immaculate and very spacious, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional too. Captain's went beyond what we expected. It's uphill from Kini, but the stunning view made it well worth it.
