Morpheus Rooms

The room had everything I needed, including in the bathroom, and I especially liked the decorative swing. The Greek-style interior felt really pleasant, and the house is so cozy. It’s just a two-minute walk from the beach, which was great for me. I stayed at Morpheus Rooms two weeks ago, and it was one of my best hotel experiences. The hosts were warm and friendly, and made the whole stay wonderful. They also made a tasty breakfast for me and my boyfriend. I’d definitely recommend the place!

I stayed for three weeks and found it hard to think of a complaint. Morpheus Rooms made a great spot for a longer stay, and the internet handled my above-average use, including at least five hours of meetings with few or no connection problems. I worked in the mornings and spent afternoons in the sun. The beach is under 1,000 meters away, and Kini sits in a cove, with almost the whole village by the water. The hosts were attentive, kind, and warmly welcoming while giving me space. When I arrived, the owner brought fresh fruit and showed me how everything in the room worked. Though I booked for one, I had a kitchenette, a mini-fridge, a larger bed, and a small table that worked well as a desk. The rooms are well equipped, with several options depending on party size. The property is cared for, and flowers spill over the terrace. One evening while I was working outside, the owner spotted me and brought fruit and an aperitivo. Such a lovely touch. Getting there from the ferry port took about 10-15 minutes by taxi, and there’s regular bus service too. Morpheus Rooms are tucked away in a quiet, refreshing spot. I met a couple who’d been returning for years, so long that the owners knew their children and grandchildren. That says a lot about the place.

There’s a nice beach about a minute away, and the owners were quite nice. The rest was nothing special, though, and you get what you pay for. A taxi from Hermoupoli costs about €12. The power went out six times during our two days there, leaving us with electricity for only about half the stay. It seemed odd because the rest of Kini appeared to have power. Without it, many listed amenities weren’t available: no WiFi, AC, fridge, kettle, or way to make breakfast. We had to pack in the dark, and both days we had cold showers because there was no warm water.

Clean, excellent rooms at good prices, and the staff are super nice. Great place!
