Stafilia Beach Hotel

The sea is only a few steps from the accommodation, and there are free sunbeds on the beach. The rooms and pool were clean, and the staff made us feel very welcome. It was a dream vacation, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the island's beauty, as long as you're not expecting luxury. The food was okay, nothing amazing. If you're a non-smoker, meals can be unpleasant because people smoke at all the tables during breakfast and dinner, so you're eating in their smoke. The hotel itself is clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has what you need, though the design feels bland and short on thoughtful details or decoration. Public buses make it easy to reach Lindos or Rhodes, and there's a small supermarket nearby. The area has only luxury hotels around, and they play loud music every night until about 11 p.m. There aren't any bars or other shops close by. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, and we had a cockroach in our room twice.

After running into problems at the nearby lindos imperial, we arrived here at 11:30 p.m. The gentleman at the desk was so lovely and found us a room straight away. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Lovely people. Thanks so much for helping us when we needed it!

The team were friendly and attentive, and the hotel was clean and well kept, though clearly an older 3-star property. I spent a relaxing week at Stafilia beach hotel, drawn by its quiet setting and pleasant pebble beach. I was concerned about the food after reading earlier Google reviews, but it was quite good. Breakfast didn't have a big selection, but there was enough to get the day started. Dinner included tasty local dishes, and the meat was always very tender. I'd recommend it for a restful holiday, especially for people 40 and over, since there's not much for younger people to do in the area. A solid 3-star stay for the price.
