We still enjoyed our time here because it was convenient for both Falassarna and Balos beach, and there's a pleasant little town nearby with a couple of restaurants. Make sure you check Gramboussa restaurant, 100% recommended. The room was big and had a nice ocean view, but the interior felt a bit ugly, and the old kitchen seemed unnecessary. The hotel itself was nothing special, everything felt dated, and it seemed like no renovations were happening. The pool wasn't very clean. It cost more than other options, and breakfast wasn't included. We tried breakfast for 12 euros each, found it nothing special, and ate elsewhere the next day. There's no proper beach here, just a tiny rocky stretch where you can get down to the ocean. The hotel is right at the entrance to Balos beach, but the drive still takes 45-50min along a dirt mountain road, and there isn't much else around. I wouldn't choose it just to relax.

A great place to start the morning before heading out on the road to balos beach. The views were amazing, it was clean and comfortable, and I loved having a library for book swaps. My one complaint: a latte in the morning cost 6 euros and was barely 8oz.

The location and views were lovely, and the hotel was clean by local standards. The staff were nice, especially the cleaning guy, who was great. I only gave it four stars because both the restaurant and breakfast were mediocre. I'd go for breakfast only, then have dinner at one of the nice restaurants down the street.

You wake up facing the sea here, with the bed set by the window. Every room has amazing views, and the pool looks out over the water almost like an infinity pool. There's also a hamam spa, sauna and gym, and the whole hotel feels like the height of luxury. The staff are gracious and welcoming, and do all they can to help. Rooms have a kitchen, a large TV and a safe for valuables. Dinner at the restaurant can be booked for 19.99 euro, all you can eat. For a romantic luxury break, this is definitely the place. I highly recommend it for a holiday that suits all kinds of groups.

The pool area is fantastic, with a bar and great ocean views. The beach is very rocky and not much use for swimming, so we stuck to the pool. It's a great base for going to Balos Beach, and they offer a car service there. We drove to Elafonisi Beach, but had to leave before breakfast was served, which was a bummer. The rooms were ok. We had to ask for toiletries and for someone to make up the kids' bed, since there were no sheets or pillows in the room.
