The staff were lovely, especially Giorgos (George), and the cleaners took extra care, even closing the shutters to keep our room cool. Our room had a small kitchen tucked into a cabinet, with a stove, fridge, and sink, and we used it often. The electric shutters also helped us sleep well every night. If you can, book a seaside view. It's worth it. We stayed at Christina Beach Hotel with my parents and were amazed when we arrived. It's right across from the beach, and the pool between the two buildings is sheltered from the wind, though a bit cold in the mornings because it stays shaded. Breakfast was nice, but at €12,50 each we preferred cooking or picking up fresh pastries from a bakery six minutes away and eating them on our balcony overlooking the sea. I've been to Egypt several times, where hospitality is unmatched, and didn't expect to find anything similar elsewhere. Christina Beach Hotel comes close. Google lists it as a 2-star hotel, but our honeymoon stay in Lefkas through TUI was at a 3-star hotel and didn't come close to this experience. If I return to Crete, I'll definitely stay here again.

We had a really pleasant four-night stay in a family room with a breathtaking sea view. The pool was nice, and breakfast was a good buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's also a pool bar serving food. The menu is small, but the quality was very good. We recommend it!

The hotel is simple but comfortable and right by the sea. Our room was large, with a big comfortable bed and a cleverly tucked-away kitchen area. We loved the balcony facing the water and hearing the waves. The swimming pool and bar area are impressive, and breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of bars and tavernas just a few minutes' walk away. We'd come again.

We could walk to the waterfront restaurants, and the staff were lovely. From our room, we had amazing views of the ocean and sunrise. A great stay, highly recommend.

I don't like being lied to. When I asked about compensation or a partial refund for the broken jacuzzi, the manager said 29-30c was normal and it couldn't get warmer. Earlier, the front desk had told me they'd unfortunately had to order a part.
