Hermes Hotel

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I'm not fussy and don't expect much luxury since I mainly use hotels to sleep, but our room and bathroom were visibly dirty and badly maintained. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the pillow made it hard to sleep, and the blankets looked dirty too. Breakfast was the one decent point, not amazing, but good enough.

The beds felt no more comfortable than the floor, and the rooms smelled moldy. The hotel was in a miserable state and looked nothing like the photos. Is it HERPES or HERMES hotel? Don’t let yourself get scammed. The photos I attached say plenty.

It took two hours and a call with someone else to sort out our cancellation, after the receptionist behaved unprofessionally. They said the hotel was “fully booked” and wouldn't move us, though rooms were visibly available online. The reason we asked was that the air conditioner was broken during weather above 32°C, which the receptionist confirmed. The place also looked like it hadn't been updated since the late 1990s or early 2000s, and the photos were far from reality. The receptionist openly said they prioritized “normal clients” and told us to leave and cancel through Booking.com ourselves. If you care about honesty, professionalism, and your holiday time, choose somewhere else.

Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, and air conditioning was included in the price. The rooms were surprisingly clean and comfortable, and the staff were really kind. We enjoyed our stay a lot and I'd happily recommend it :)
