Sapphire Horizon Suites

The only downside was that we could stay just two days. After a disgusting disaster at Balos Beach Hotel, Sapphire was such a happy change: the staff were wonderful, the team running the place was cheerful, and the apartments were large with huge balconies and water views. There’s a nice pool, delicious breakfast, very comfortable beds, and a washer in the apartment.

We had a great time here. The staff were both friendly and professional, the suites were great, and the pool was clean and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was nice, and it’s well located close to the beach. Free parking too. Highly recommended!

The hotel is really clean, the rooms are very spacious, and the staff are so friendly. The lovely ladies working there greeted us warmly every day and went above and beyond to help. It’s close to the best beaches in Crete and away from the touristy part of Chania old town, which made it feel like a gem in the Chania region. You’ll need a car to properly explore beyond Kissamos. We had a great experience and would highly recommend it.

We arrived at Sapphire Blue Suites on 1.6.25 for a week, and I’d happily come back. The staff were incredible and made our trip special, especially Danielle and Eleni, who went above and beyond whenever they could. Everyone we met in Kissamos was warm and welcoming, and the hospitality was fantastic. The modern rooms were lovely, immaculate, and had everything we could need. The pool and the area around it were pristine. There’s a short walk to the town square, with lots of places to eat, and the seafront is nearby too. It isn’t a beach I’d choose, but there’s a gorgeous one just a short taxi ride away. The port is about five minutes away by car, with lots of options for day trips.
