Aigialis Apartments & Studios

The studio was in a handy spot, with large supermarkets and a bus stop nearby, and Heraklion was about 15-20 minutes away by bus. Inside, it was spotless, cool from the air conditioning, and smelled fresh when we arrived. The kitchen had the dishes and basics we needed for meals and coffee, and the host was happy to bring anything else we needed. They also helped us find good places to eat and nice beaches. Our flight landed in Heraklion at 2am, and the host arranged a taxi and met us with the studio ready. Communication was better than I expected. We’d recommend it and plan to come back next year. 10/10.

Good value, and right in the middle of things, with beaches, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and the bus stop close by. The room was spacious and clean, and the owners were friendly, attentive and helpful from the moment we arrived. They even gave us wine and fruit. The room did get humid, which might not suit someone with allergies, and the bathroom is small. There was also some street noise, though none of that was a big deal for us. I’d definitely recommend the place. Cheers.

The owner was responsive and kindly guided us from the airport to his apartment, and the nearby grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and newer freeway were convenient. But it’s a noisy spot, right under the HERK airport flight path, with jets from 630am to 1030 pm, plus constant traffic from the busy main street and early grocery deliveries. The sofa beds were futons with almost no support. Maybe I’m a spoiled American, but the apartment didn’t meet my basic standards.

The owner was so friendly, helpful and lovely, and everything was very clean. It’s a quiet apartment, about a five minute walk to a lovely clean sandy beach with bars serving food and drinks. There’s a big supermarket and bakery just two minutes away, and the bus toward Heraklion stops two minutes from the hotel. The apartment has air conditioning, a private bathroom, terrace and kitchen. Highly recommended.
