We stayed here in mid-July, and the kids were happy to have bedrooms of their own. The two main bedrooms upstairs can get quite hot, but each has air conditioning. Downstairs, the shared living space stays pleasantly cool, and the house has everything we needed: a coffee maker, washing machine, fridge with a large freezer, toaster, iron and clothes dryer. The pool was a real treat, with a shallow section for little ones and a deeper area for swimming, playing ball, jumping in or just sitting in the water. There’s plenty of seating around it too. The villa is beautifully restored and decorated, with a real Greek holiday feel, even a Greek flag fluttering outside. Anna Marie was caring and helpful, greeted us when we arrived in the evening, and left us homemade olives. It works well for one larger family or two smaller ones. The house sits in an old village high on the mountain, so getting there means navigating very narrow lanes and L-shaped bends. A smaller car is a better choice. There are several nice beaches within a 5 to 20 minute drive, and plenty to see and do nearby.
