Swan Paradise Residences

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the place had all the amenities. But I didn’t get a clean feeling from the bathroom, with its dull tiles, and the shower by the toilet and the one in the shower area were both broken. There were cobwebs in several spots, including the bathroom and behind the headboard, and the floor wasn’t very clean. It felt like someone had been staying there for a long time. We were there for one night between Christmas and New Year’s. I’d already filled out the two requested fields in the booking review about what I liked and didn’t like, but the negative comments never appeared, so I’m putting them here.

Everything else was perfect. The apartment is new, roomy, clean, and comfortable. Just a heads-up, there’s no stovetop, so you can’t warm up takeout or baby food. I’d add a microwave at least. Still giving it 5 stars!

The rooms looked new and nicely decorated, so our first impression was good. We were two couples staying on Saturday 5/7/25, with separate reservations for two different rooms or houses. In our room, the air felt stuffy and damp, and later that evening, when the light was strong, we saw that the large wall was swollen all across, apparently from moisture. The heat was unbearable too, as there was no insulation at all. In our friends’ room, we found a huge cockroach, which I suppose can happen on the ground floor. But our own room had cobwebs in three or four places, with dead insects in them. A simple dusting and cleaning should have taken care of that. We were only there for one night, thankfully. The stay wasn’t pleasant, since it didn’t feel as clean as it seemed, which is a shame for newly built rooms that could be properly clean with a little effort.

The rooms were lovely, modern, clean, and quiet. I’d stay there again and recommend them.
