Kolymbia Bay Art - Adults Only

The staff made our stay feel special, and Maria was especially warm, kind and attentive. Everyone went out of their way to look after us. We loved the relaxed pool and bar area, with good music from the DJ, and breakfast each morning had a delicious range of options. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully kept. There are excellent restaurants about a ten-minute walk away, while the hotel itself is peaceful and scenic, with breathtaking views of the mountains and Rhodes. From check-in to departure, everything went wonderfully. It was one of our best hotel stays, and we hope to return someday. Thank you for such a memorable holiday at Kolymbia Bay Art Hotel.

We booked a garden-view room with a balcony for our honeymoon after getting married a few weeks ago, since we love the area and know the island. Instead, the view was a construction site, as the photo shows, and reception made no effort to apologise or put things right. Five days in, we're still waiting for the advertised welcome pack or welcome chat. We were first given the wrong room, then approached at the pool the next afternoon and told we should have gone to reception that morning to change it. Nobody had told us that, and being told off in front of everyone was embarrassing. The advertised fitness facilities couldn't be located, and even the staff didn't know where they were. A few staff members gave brilliant customer service, and the area and its beautiful sights have been the only saving grace. We gave the hotel several days to apologise before writing this, but we fly home in two days. I wish the hotel had told guests about the state of the “garden view rooms” before arrival, so people could choose somewhere else, or at least offered an apology. In my view there was a complete lack of integrity, so I wouldn't book here.

A good choice if you're hiring a car to explore the island, with free private parking beside the hotel. The beach is about 200 m away, with clear water and a mix of pebbles and sand, though its sunbeds and beach bar belong to another all-inclusive hotel, so we couldn't buy anything there. There's a very small pool, but the rooms are nice, breakfast very good, the restaurant good, and the staff friendly and helpful. Between the beach and Kolymbia Art Hotel, a new hotel was under construction in October 2025, with machinery noise from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's a nice hotel if you don't plan to spend the whole day there.

We wanted somewhere quiet, and this location suited us well. It's about a 15-minute walk to Kolymbia's main strip, with some lovely restaurants and a few bars. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, with loads of options including bacon and hash browns 😍, and the food overall was amazing. All the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help. Lisa especially looked after everyone and sorted out any issues with travel to nearby places. We loved staying here.
