Kommeno Bay Apartments

Our first visit to Corfu was made really special by staying here. Vicky, the owner, was kind and quick to respond, and shared helpful places to eat and visit. She even lent us a beach umbrella for exploring other beaches. The apartment was spotless thanks to the daily cleaning, and the property has lovely views, a private beach entrance and a deep pool. We did have some Wi-Fi interruptions, mostly in the evenings when everyone was online, but that didn’t spoil our stay. We booked at the last minute and were very glad we did. We’d definitely recommend Kommeno Bay Apartments.

The room looked out over the sea and little boats, and there’s a private beach at the hotel. Mrs. Vicky was so sweet and helpful, even emailing us suggestions for places to eat that came in handy on our first day on the island. A very beautiful hotel.

The staff cleaned our spacious apartment every day, including the bathroom and kitchen, and it was spotless. It had everything we needed for two, plus a balcony with a gorgeous sea view and beautiful sunrise each morning. There’s also a quiet footpath down to the sea and a swimming pool. The property is about a 10-minute drive from Corfu town and offers excellent value for money. It’s a family business that’s been run for decades. Vicky was friendly and welcoming, with lots of useful trip tips. She really added to our stay. Amazing facilities, and I’d highly recommend it.

The private stone pier with sunbeds was our favorite part. There were loads of fish along it, so we’d suggest bringing snorkels. We never even used the pool. The air conditioning worked well, the accommodation was good quality and the rates were very reasonable. Vicky was friendly and had lots of recommendations, and it felt good to support a family owned business. You’ll want a car, though: the nearest shop is quite a walk away and the area is very hilly.
