Nefeli is a pleasant, sociable hotel where people enjoy chatting outside, and the atmosphere feels warm and friendly. The pool is clean, a decent length, and has plenty of loungers; there’s also a pool bar that seemed to serve until around 10pm. The location is fairly secluded along the back roads to Kommeno Bay, with no public transport nearby, so a car is the best choice and taxis are relatively expensive. Once you get used to the small quirks, it’s a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it to budget travellers. At this price, it’s the best value in the immediate area, especially since some places don’t include breakfast or coffee. There’s a generous breakfast each day and a breakfast box for early departures. The rooms are a decent size, but the showers could use an update. Charging your phone while relaxing by the pool is awkward because the room key is attached to the keycard, which needs to stay in the room. The staff are pleasant and helpful, though a few things could be improved. The hotel says the water isn’t drinkable but only provides drinking water on the first day, then charges for it. Pool towels also cost extra. Those charges could be included in the room price with little effect on guests and less administrative hassle. Reception opens surprisingly late, at 8:30, so book a taxi the night before if needed.

The access road is single-lane and can be tricky, but with a car the hotel is well placed for visiting the city or sights in the north of the island. It’s a charming, quiet spot in Corfu. Staff were outstanding, the breakfast buffet was generous and varied, and our room was spotless. We liked having the cats around too. The pool was pleasant, with plenty of loungers and a bar nearby. I’d recommend it to a friend.

We like small, family-run places with an intimate feel, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help, whether arranging trips, finding a doctor, or pointing us to good restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and everything worked well. The shower could use an upgrade, which I’m sure will come in time, but it was cleaned daily. The beautiful pool was clean and well maintained, with plenty of comfortable seating. We’d definitely come back.

The best part for us was the pool and garden, with all the beautiful trees flowering during our stay. Breakfast had a nice variety, everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need; we paid a little extra for a larger one. The hotel is in a strategic spot, close to Corfu Town and some of the most beautiful beaches, so it’s a great option if you have a car or scooter. We’ll look forward to returning.

The breakfast staff were especially friendly and helpful each morning, always smiling and making sure everything was right. From the moment I arrived, the service felt warm, professional, and attentive. I had a fantastic stay, and I’m grateful for how enjoyable the team made it. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend the hotel if you’re looking for comfort, quality, and great service.
