Rodostamo Hotel & Spa - Adults friendly

The small pool was open, though sadly the main pool was closed, and the gym had some worn equipment, especially the cable machines. We enjoyed our week overall, but a little more attention to hospitality would have helped. The room was cleaned very well and breakfast had a good range, though the same choices were served each day. When we arrived hungry after 11pm, there was no overnight room service, so we had to eat the snacks we’d brought. The air conditioning was set to heat and couldn’t be switched to cool because the building was still in winter heat mode. That meant choosing between hot nights or opening the balcony door and dealing with mosquitoes and noise from nearby dogs and a cockerel, as other reviews mentioned. Our partial sea view room also faced a construction site, with morning building noise, and sat right above the breakfast hall where we could hear music. The cleaners left each of us a 500ml water bottle daily, but when we ran out one evening, the desk said we could drink tap water or buy some at the shop. That wasn’t the hospitality I expected. A quick Google search said Corfu tap water is technically safe, but very hard and can make some people unwell. We stayed in the off season over Easter in early April.

Spiros and Diana took such good care of us and were always attentive and ready to help. Their hospitality made the stay feel like a true five-star experience at Rodostamo Hotel & Spa in Corfu. The bus stop for Corfu town is just outside the main entrance, around a five-minute walk, which worked very well for us. We left feeling refreshed and happy, and are already thinking about coming back. I’d recommend it for a peaceful, high-quality getaway. Thanks for a memorable stay!

The villa and its hot tub were amazing, with stunning views. We also enjoyed the restaurant across from the beach area, where the food selection was lovely and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Diana and Joanna at reception were especially helpful and went above and beyond. It’s a quiet location, and I’d suggest hiring a car if you want to explore. Car hire is easy to arrange at the hotel. I didn’t get to book a spa treatment, but the spa looked clean and relaxing at first glance. Fantastic stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

There are lots of room types, so check that you’ve booked the one you want. The hotel is adults only, which made for a quiet, relaxing stay. It’s close to the main road, with bus 7 going into the city, and you can also rent a car at the hotel. Ask for the details so you get the kind you want, since there’s a big choice from petrol to fully electric. Stillous, the car rental manager, was helpful. The staff were kind and ready whenever we needed something from the moment we arrived, especially Joanna and Diana, though everyone was great. Breakfast had lots of choice, and the outdoor pool is designed in a really modern way, with chairs right in the shallow water and a great view of the bay.
