We turned up late at night and went around town asking hotels about rooms. This one had space, so we stayed. The beds were comfortable, and aside from a little dust, the place was clean. The staff were really helpful, even bringing in someone who spoke English to assist us. It was the best value I’ve had for the price. The town is lovely too, and I’d come back.

We'd already paid, but this place felt like hell, not a hotel. The WiFi was awful, there was no hot water, and the old lady was so rude. We were just sitting on the sofa cushion when she started yelling at me. Even with the door closed, she kept shouting at us. I wouldn't recommend it.

We came as a fencing team for our annual camp, and the rooms were cramped, dirty, and full of flies. When we told the owner, an old lady, that we didn't speak Greek, I think she made a nasty remark about Türkiye. She also barged into a teammate's room just as he was about to shower, and would hit our feet or legs if they touched the coffee table on the balcony. When she got angry with us, the internet would be switched off. Some food went missing too, including noodles, a nestle crunch bar, croissants, and other snacks. We assumed staff had taken it after seeing some of the packaging in the supplies closet. If you're visiting, I'd suggest renting a small house in Konitsa instead. It was almost impossible to communicate and cooperate with the old lady. One star feels deserved.

The location is away from the town center, so it was quiet, though getting to the center means walking uphill or driving. The bed was comfortable and the host was kind enough. The room was clean, just not spotless, with dust on the closet's upper shelf. For 45€/per night, I expected a bit more. Both the apartment and room could use renovation. I was also disappointed that the host said they wouldn't come in for the usual room cleaning because of covid measures. That was new to us during the past 2 years of covid.
