Ksenonas Biktoria

The view is amazing, but what stayed with me most was how Mr. Spyros and his wife made us feel at home. They were kind, cheerful, tireless, and always available. We never felt like we were in rented accommodation, or alone, even though we came without company. They made us feel like guests were unnecessary, and I was surprised and lucky to find such humanity in people nowadays. For breakfast, we had loukoumades, trahana, fresh butter, and handmade jams. Their restaurant serves their own meats and very good food, and they make their own tsipouro. They also help arrange rafting in Konitsa, steam baths just across from the guesthouse, and mountaineering in Kamenik. These are the things I remember from our 3 days, though I'm sure I've forgotten more. You should go, even just for the experience.

The place is old but very clean and well kept, with new mattresses and pillows. I slept on crisp, handmade white sheets. The owner is a goddess! Each day she brought us breakfast made with her own products, including handmade pies and donuts. Her food is one of a kind!

Mrs. Athina was always ready to answer our questions with a smile, and she was very helpful. A very nice hotel.

The location is very quiet, and the rooms are reasonable for what they offer. Mr. Spyros and his wife are kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm. I had mutton, and the meat was such good quality that you know you'll eat well.
