The island is gorgeous in spring, all green, with flowers blooming in front of the windmills and a lovely view. We stayed at least one night in these old windmills, renovated as a hotel, and it was a special experience worth visiting. Breakfast was fresh and came from the local bakery, which I highly recommend in the village.

We stopped by for a look at the old windmills, now converted into hotel residences. The bar was closed, and everything seemed very quiet. If you’re nearby, it’s worth making a small detour.
