Efilenia Luxury Villas

The villa was modern, spotless, and had everything we needed, including our own pool and parking. Having a supermarket nearby was handy. But the neighborhood felt run-down, and Corfu town was a long way off. Without garden lights, we couldn't really have dinner outside in the evenings. The arrival and payment mix-up left a bad taste. The key wasn't in the main locker because the maid had forgotten it, so we waited around 15-20 minutes for a spare. The following day, I got a rude call saying I hadn't paid. They wanted to bring over a card machine right away and said my Ireland-based bank had emailed in Greek to say I hadn't approved the payment. That sounded very odd. I called the bank, confirmed the payment, and gave them the details. The owner then laughed it off and said it was about someone else, while Melina, the property manager, kept texting me to pay. I felt completely disrespected. The villa itself was nice, but the setting, lack of outdoor lighting, and way these problems were handled left us disappointed. We'd hesitate to return.
