Gerekos Apartments

The host was really friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the onsite bar's delicious food a couple of times. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My friend and I stayed in the two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious, with one double bed, two single beds, and a small kitchen area. The bedrooms shared a balcony overlooking the pool. The complex is beautiful and very reasonably priced, with parking spaces opposite. Gouvia Marina is a 15-20 minute walk away. We'd absolutely stay again.

The beach and the lovely beach tavern, Natalie by Brounos, are a five-minute walk away. The mini supermarket is about ten minutes on foot, with fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, drinks, and some souvenirs. The supermarket is 15 minutes away, and bus 7 to Corfu town stops in front of it. We had a really nice nine-day stay with a lovely family who work hard to make guests comfortable and at home. Our apartment had two bedrooms with airco, a shower and toilet, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, water cooker, dining table, and four chairs. From the balcony we could see the pool and a lovely green garden with roses, palm trees, lots of herbs, papyrus, and old olive trees. There was also a private terrace at the front with ‘anti mosquito’ geraniums, perfect for a late afternoon glass of Retsina. I'll really miss Angela’s delicious gemistá, grilled and stuffed tomatoes and eggplants. Angela is a great cook with a passion for Corfu food. I'd come back just for that meal, or maybe Angela could share the recipe? ‘Our’ red cat welcomed us every day and made us feel at home, just like Milu. Super friendly Anna cleaned our rooms perfectly. You can get breakfast, lunch, drinks, and dinner until 9 PM. There's also a refrigerator with water, beer, and soda to take away. They close the restaurant and shop sometime in the afternoon. It would be great if there were a machine for drinks and water after closing. With a bit of luck, a family member will bring fresh peaches from the garden to your table, and the son of the house, sometimes behind the bar with a charming smile, may take your order or have a drink with you.

Yanni's is a very good place to stay in Corfou. The apartments are clean and lovely, with two swimming pools and a little restaurant serving Greek food made by the mama. The staff are very nice, too. It's three minutes from a lovely beach and five minutes from the bus station. Thanks!

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help, and made us feel right at home. The surroundings were beautiful and it was easy to get to nearby attractions. Every meal was delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a lot of care. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend this place, and would love to return!
