We picked this hotel for its central spot among the island’s crossroads, and I’d happily stay again. It’s about 4.5 km, or a 10-minute drive, from the main town, though parking there is very difficult. The stone-built hotel was very clean, and our room had a two-person jacuzzi. From the side we could see the beach near the port, and it was relaxing to watch the sky and hills. Xristos speaks great English and gave us tips on what to see. Kea is the closest island to Lavrio’s port; depending on the ferry, the ride takes 45 minutes or an hour.

We had a lovely, restful stay, with cafes, walks, and swimming all easy to get to. The staff were especially helpful when we needed a prescription after the pharmacies had closed, and looked after us from arrival onward. Set above the harbor, Keos by the Sea feels like a calm, beautiful retreat. A special place, go enjoy it.

The people here really made the stay, from manager Chris to the cheerful cleaners. Everyone was professional, very helpful, and made things a pleasure. Our room was spotless and a good size, with impressive views from the hotel. Highly recommended.

Chris made getting around easy, with advice on places to eat, walking times, and even which beach might suit the day’s wind. The hotel communicated really well. We were about a 12-minute walk from the port restaurants and around 7 minutes from Eora Seaside Beach Club and Restaurant. Our roomy, spotless room had a basket of treats and wine, plus a view over the bay. The sunsets were gorgeous every evening. Such an incredible stay at The Keos Hotel, highly recommend!
