Hotel Zaga-Beach

We’ve spent years visiting Koroni with my family, usually staying at a hotel next to this business. They run a tavern, rent rooms, and hire out beach chairs, umbrellas, SUP boards, and canoes. We’ve eaten here dozens of times, bought coffee even more often, and rented SUP boards, so I count myself as a customer even though we haven’t stayed there. Today my kids wanted to rent a SUP board, but we were turned away because the business has a disagreement with the owner of the hotel where we're staying. My kids had been looking forward to using the board, and we had to tell them the lady wouldn't rent one to us. Such a shame. I believe selective customer service is a criminal offense in Greece, and this is illegal. I think the Consumer's Ombudsman (Consumer's Ombudsman) may be interested. Regardless of our past custom, it's unprofessional to involve customers in a dispute with a neighboring business and pass the problem on to my family, who only have a few days to rest. I wonder what they think refusing a customer will achieve. Do they expect us to stay there next year? Guess again. We won't use the business for food or coffee either. I'm leaving this review so others can decide what they think, and I'll consider whether to file an official complaint.

Parking can be hard to find. The restaurant at the German-dominated hotel was decent enough, though the service was mediocre. Umbrellas and beach chairs are inexpensive to rent for the day, and the beach itself is beautiful, set beneath Koroni Castle.

One of my favorite beaches in Greece. It's a beautiful place to unwind with a drink and take in the view.

I remember this restaurant being much better a few years ago. This time, the Gigantes (beans) were either canned or just really awful, which was a first for me at a Greek restaurant. Such a shame.
