AEGEAN BLU KOS

The pool area was calm and great for families with kids, with plenty of lilos to play on. Artemis at reception and Floriana, the Hsk supervisor, were amazing and handled everything with a smile. The room was big, with lots of room for our things. The hotel is close to the beach, not too far from town, and there are plenty of shops and taverna right by it. We'll book again!

I came back because of the location near Lambi beach and Kostantino market, and compared with last year there had been some improvement. But we ended up leaving for Theonia, a two-star hotel I can recommend for its great location and service and clean rooms. At the beginning of August, our first room here was a disaster. It was in the basement, moldy and smelled horribly of sewage, and the bathroom door was broken. We spent the first two nights there. We then booked another room, which was much better, clean and with a lovely balcony view. The trouble was, we had to spend the rest of our holiday in that room. When we went to pay for extra days, they hadn't booked them, even though we'd agreed with the young girl. So we left with our bags and moved to a new hotel.

The reception girl was so nice and helpful, and the cleaning ladies did an amazing job. The room itself was okay and stayed clean. Still, the positives don't make up for the rest. Breakfast was a disaster: rock-hard bread that seemed days old, barely any choices, and a real disappointment for a vacation. The pool was only 1.50m deep, which was disappointing too.

We booked a single night before our week-long sailing trip around Kos and I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was clean and nice, and the service was great. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and willing to help with anything. I can highly recommend it, and we'll definitely stay again on our next trip to Kos. Thank you!
