The people really made this hotel for us. Everyone was welcoming, efficient, and friendly, from reception and the bars to the kitchen and housekeeping. Fatma, Kyriakos, Mustafa, Ahmed, Aggelos, and Mosay deserve a special thank you. The guest experience felt very well thought through. We stayed for 8 nights at the start of May, and the place still felt fresh and new. Its modern design uses clean lines, natural stone, and colours that echo the island. The pool and beach had plenty of loungers even for high season, and both felt peaceful. We liked how the beach and bar flowed together. Sitting outside with a coffee or a drink late at night became one of our favourite things, with stunning views. Inside, the bar had a city bar feel, while outside there was comfortable seating. The breakfast room spreads into the main hotel area, and that layout felt a little disjointed. Our sea view room was one of the best we’ve had, with a clear view towards Turkey and Kos and spectacular sunrises. It could use more storage, though: there were no drawers and too few shelves. We booked bed and breakfast, then walked the 1 mile into Kos old town after breakfast to visit the square and have dinner at one of the many lively restaurants. We also took day trips to Nisyros and Zia, both well worth it. Kos has a great mix of history, archaeological sites, shops, and good places to eat.

Really good stay. The rooms were immaculate, and the cleaners did a great job. Both the bar food and fine dining were up to a high standard. There were always beds available at the beach and pool. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a peaceful stay in late September, and it never felt too crowded. It’s “adult friendly” rather than adults only, but we didn’t see any kids and the atmosphere was quiet. We could always find a sunbed at the pool or beach, whatever time we went, and could order food and drinks to it whenever we wanted. The pools were freezing, almost like ice baths, so hardly anyone stayed in for more than a couple of minutes. The rooms themselves were lovely, but a bright green fire alarm light flashed right above the bed all night. Reception listened when we mentioned it and sent housekeeping to cover part of it with tape. That helped a bit, though it was still very bright. We really enjoyed the food. The à la carte restaurant had lots of tasty choices, especially for vegetarians, and they were happy to make vegetarian versions of meat or fish dishes when asked. The second restaurant had a different menu each day, with a 3 course meal for €45pp and good veggie options. We’d read complaints about breakfast, but liked the range and the omelette station where the chef made eggs to order. The gym is small but has good modern Technogym equipment, including cables, lat pulls, treadmills, a rowing machine, dumbbells, a Smith machine, and a leg curl machine. The spa treatments cost a lot, but were lovely and worth it. My masseuse, Fragislei, was fantastic and so friendly. Nearly all the staff were great and accommodating. One guest manager at the service desk opposite reception, a woman with short blonde hair and glasses who had no name tag, was rude when we asked to change our taxi pickup time. She made it obvious she was annoyed by the request. Everyone else was lovely, and we absolutely loved our stay.

The hotel looks impressive and gives you a luxury feel as soon as you arrive. It’s modern and clearly designed with a lot of thought. Reception staff were warm, helpful with local advice, and happy to arrange taxis, tests, or trips. The location worked perfectly for us, a few steps from the beach and far enough from town to avoid the crowds. Check-in was easy, and they got us into our room a few hours early, which we really appreciated after an early flight from the UK. We had a quiet week and enjoyed the layout, cleanliness, relaxed atmosphere, huge gym, and evening entertainment. Staff were amazing, food decent, drinks good, and the rooms comfortable enough. It felt like a good mix of nationalities, with everyone getting along. The hotel is very close to an adults only resort. The cocktail list was good too, though the ouzo cocktail will take you out. We’d go back, and actually will. The beach is pebbly, so bring shoes. That said, there are plenty of problems behind the good first impression, which is why I’m giving it two stars. Our large room had no natural light and little sensible storage. We were there for 10 nights and couldn’t fit everything easily. Some clothing shelves were too high for me to reach at 6ft 1. The private pool stayed in shade 24/7, and all the pools were freezing, so ours was almost unusable. Other guests with similar rooms said they had the same issue. The design should have accounted for this. The minibar was supposed to be restocked daily, but the wine we drank on our first night was never replaced. We didn’t like it much anyway, so this wasn’t a big issue for us. Breakfast was the same every day, and much of it seemed low quality: plastic sliced cheese and cold meats, dry pastries, and cold fried food. Getting a simple black coffee from a pot was a struggle. We often had to ask 2-3 times and wait 10-15 minutes. If we followed up, staff seemed annoyed, and sometimes scowled at us or ignored us. One staff member avoided us for two days after we complained about waiting over 30 minutes to order lunch. Management said they were “busy”, but the guest-facing team seemed clearly understaffed, often with one person covering large areas and sometimes just one server on the beach. The beach is rocky, and large areas were scattered with cigarette ends that staff didn’t seem interested in clearing. Getting a server’s attention there was hard too, and the ordering ‘app’ wouldn’t work for us. Non-guests also seemed able to rent sunbeds. I don’t have a massive problem with that on a public beach, but on a couple of days it left us without a spot. I think hotel guests should get priority. Smoking was treated very casually throughout the hotel, including areas where food and drinks were served. One rainy night, all the doors and windows were closed, but people kept smoking and staff handed out ashtrays. Reception said they would sort it after we raised the issue, but it continued for the rest of our stay. My partner has asthma, so some areas were out of bounds, especially when it was cool, windy, or raining. The place looks lovely, but it has a long way to go before it delivers a 5 star experience.

We had a pleasant stay, helped by good service, a great beachfront location with the hotel’s own sunbeds, nice pools, and spacious, comfortable rooms. Everything feels new and modern. The umbrellas at the beach and pool don’t tilt or move, so there’s no way to find shade in the August heat. Breakfast also fell a little short for us. The range was fine, but some dishes were repeatedly dry. Still a lovely stay, and a few small fixes could make it perfect.
