Paradise Resort Hotel

We stayed for two nights in June 2025, and it felt very expensive for the standard. The service was really poor. When we got to our room, the jacuzzi was terribly dirty. We asked reception to have it cleaned while we were out, but that never happened. Later, staff came in while we were still in the room. The pool bar wasn’t operating at all. The reception team were helpful, but the administration clearly wasn’t efficient.

The owner held his aunt’s birthday party by the pool on our second night, with a barbecue and music going late. We told him the next morning that we’d come to relax and sleep, and that it hadn’t been great for us. He said his aunt’s birthday mattered more. If you ask for laundry, your clothes are mixed up with those from other rooms, so we had to sort them out ourselves on the reception desk. We also had a frustrating time getting the room we booked. The first room they put us in was a triple, and they came to move us because of their mistake. The next one didn’t match the pictures or description of the deluxe room with balcony and sea view that we’d booked. It had one bed, no facilities, was on the ground floor, and looked over land. We eventually got a room with sea view and balcony, but still only one bed and no facilities. Don’t expect the things listed in the room description to actually be there. The hotel was clean and fairly well located for the city center, but the experience wasn’t worth a stop.

The bathroom was dirty when we checked in, and the bunk bed was collapsing. On our last night there was no hot water, not even warm, and it was freezing. Reception kept doubting us when we reported it. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and the hospitality and cleanliness were awful. It was extremely expensive for what it was. Never again.

The resort is beautifully designed, and the view is magnificent. The pool was clean, and our room was cleaned every day without us having to ask. Everyone on staff was kind. We also enjoyed renting a boat, with several choices depending on the price and type of boat. Mr Manos was friendly, kind, and a real professional. Highly recommended!
