Posidonion Hotel

The sea view from the room was lovely, but the rest of our stay was a bad experience. There was no electric kettle or glasses, and the hot water stopped after 9 p.m. The air conditioner leaked onto the balcony, so we had to collect the water with a bottle four times a day. A week before we arrived, the manager also told us we would have to change rooms after two days. Not recommended.

The room was dirty, and the towels were stained and didn't feel clean. The owner’s behavior made the stay even worse: extremely rude, arguing with guests constantly and making the atmosphere unpleasant. The location was good, and the woman at reception was polite, but those were the only positives. I wouldn't recommend it. For just a little more money, you can definitely find somewhere cleaner and more welcoming.

We left immediately after the owner Christina came into our room yelling and threatening us when we complained. She shouted, “you are in my property,” and said leftover towels and dirty linen were common in all hotels. We had prepaid for the room, but it was filthy when we checked in: used towels from previous guests, coffee mugs and cigarettes, a forgotten man's swimsuit, stained linen, and even a toilet roll in the vanity. Absolutely disgusting. The location shown on Google Maps is wrong too, it isn't on the port. Avoid this “hotel” at all cost.

After we raised our concerns at reception, we were brushed off. The older woman we presumed was the owner didn't take us seriously, especially me as a non-Greek speaker. She interrupted me and talked about money instead of acknowledging what had happened. Very rude person. Our first room was dirty and unpleasant, and on the very first morning my friend woke up with a cockroach on her face. We were moved to a better room on the first floor, but only for two nights. After that, they sent us to a studio outside the hotel building, with no air conditioning, no internet and no proper explanation. We paid for three nights, and even that felt like too much. Disrespectful, disorganized and unhygienic. Avoid this place.
