That ancient tree makes the atmosphere feel amazing. We stopped for lunch, and the food was nice. It feels more like a cafe that also serves dinner.

Let the owner guide you toward the daily specials, she was so kind and helpful. We loved the black beans and grilled sheep chops, along with cabbage and carrot salad from their garden. The galotiri and homemade pie with its secret recipe were lovely too. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared beautifully. A beautiful traditional tavern for lunch. 🫶🏻🌹

The guesthouse is ideally located in a really picturesque village. We had delicious, excellent food at the tavern, and the service was very nice. Everyone was kind.

The food was the best we had on our trip to Greece, especially the homemade pie, moussaka, and souvlakis. We were five people staying for two nights, with dinner both evenings and breakfast on both mornings. Breakfast was hearty, with a beautiful view. This sleepy village is tucked into the hills of Koukouli, and the welcome and service were better than anywhere we've experienced in any country or guesthouse. The lady of the guesthouse is genuinely lovely. Even with the language barrier, she makes an effort to communicate openly and always has a big smile. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful, hidden gem of a region.

After a six-hour hike, we got there at 3 pm exhausted and hungry. Nobody else was at the restaurant, just the owner, who welcomed us warmly and offered coffee, Greek salad, and a quiche-like pie. We didn't get a menu, though we hadn't asked for one. It felt like she knew just what we needed. The food was delicious, and the family-like atmosphere made it feel like she really wanted to look after us.
