3 Goddesses' studios

The bathroom was especially lovely, and the Aphrodite apartment was beautifully decorated. We had plenty of room for two and everything we needed. Housekeeping came every day with fresh towels and bedding, better service than we’ve had at some island hotels. We’ve just spent a week here and were so impressed. A great choice if you want somewhere quieter.

There’s a taverna and a superette/bakery just around the corner, and the bus stop is within 50 metres. Koukounaris beach is about a 17-minute walk around the lake. The place itself has plenty of space, a great balcony, and a kitchenette with all the appliances you need.

We loved sitting on the private front balcony with a glass of wine in the evening. Out back, the garden is a quiet, beautiful oasis by the forest, with good hiking trails that lead to secluded beaches. The main beach is a short walk away, and the bus into town stops just across the road. Our studio was spotless, with towels and bedding changed regularly. There were free toiletries, water, and a welcome bottle of wine. The host owns the nearby supermarket and was easy to reach with questions. It has most essentials, plus fresh coffee. The owner clearly takes pride in the studios and does a lot to make guests’ stay enjoyable.

There was no hot water for two days, and the tap water was dirty and brown. The apartment was filthy, dark, gloomy, and cramped. The owner's dog barked constantly and ran at me, and I thought it was going to attack. There was no sense of Xenia.
