Thank you, Nickos+family ☺️ It really felt like staying with family, and the price for the whole upper floor was more than fair. We had two bedrooms, one double bed and two singles, all with very comfortable mattresses. The little extras made it even nicer: homemade cake from the host's mom, fresh eggs, filtered water for our entire stay, and even a short car ride when needed. The host and his parents were easy to reach whenever we had a question or needed advice. The father and son speak English. There are mosquito nets on every window and door, too. We got around on foot and by the reliable local bus, including the “green buses” to and from near the airport. We love walking, though others might prefer a car. Petritis, an authentic fishing village with several supermarkets and a good range of products, is about a 30-minute walk away, or longer if you take the pleasant route through nearby villages. For tavernas, there are options in Petritis, by the sea in Boukaris about 15 minutes north on foot, or in Argyrades about 40 minutes south. This is a lovely home in a lovely village with lovely people. It’s a peaceful place away from busy tourist areas, with beautiful views of green landscapes and the sea from terraces on three sides. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset, heard owls at night, and felt part of a sweet little community.
