Pyrgos Hotel Apartments

We felt at home with the hosts, a couple who clearly want their guests to feel welcome. The rooms were lovely and the beds comfortable. The accommodation is in an almost secluded area, but the beach is only about a seven-minute walk away. Everything was just right, and I really recommend it.

We only stayed a week and wished we could have stayed longer. Saying goodbye was so hard. The owner and his family treated us like family from the moment we arrived, and made the whole stay more enjoyable. We’ll carry them in our hearts and definitely come back next year. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes from the airport and eight minutes or less from the beach. We recommend Cantina, where two ladies serve lovely food and there are comfortable yellow sunbeds. The main road, with plenty of shops and restaurants, is close by.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and our group of 10 had large, clean rooms with no problems during our eight great days at Pyrgos hotel. They even let us stay almost an extra day at no charge because our flight was late in the evening. There’s a kite-surfing spot on the beach about 200 metres west of the hotel, and a supermarket about the same distance to the east. Balconies have sea views, and we enjoyed watching the planes come in. Just be aware that the landing planes can also wake you or startle you at night. It’s a great place if you want to relax and get out for kiteboarding or drives around the island, rather than spend the whole holiday indoors.

The owner was welcoming and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. Shops and restaurants are nearby, and the kite-surfing beach is a 10-minute walk away.
