My daughter and I are here now, and we wanted a relaxing holiday. We definitely chose the right place. The welcome was great, with helpful, friendly staff and a cold drink when we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, full of palms, olive trees and lush greenery, and the whole resort feels peaceful. It’s lovely and clean, with a beautiful beach and a great pool area. The staff have been fantastic, going out of their way to make our stay good and sorting out any concerns very quickly. The food is fantastic too, with something for everyone. There’s a cooking station and themed food evenings, lots of choice, tender and tasty meat dishes, and delicious salads. We’re in room 324. It doesn’t have a sea view, but the inland view from the balcony is very pretty. There’s plenty to do around the resort, and the bus outside the hotel goes to different towns for shopping, tavernas and bars, or to explore other beaches. We’re so glad we picked this resort and will definitely be back. Thanks for looking after us so well 😊.

We spent six days here in late May with our grandchildren, and the weather was perfect for swimming and sunbathing, warm but not too hot. The hotel grounds are magnificent and very well laid out. There’s something for every age, including a safe, clean beach, pools, a spa, shops, bars, entertainment and restaurants. It’s a lovely place to relax and recharge. The food was exceptionally good, nicely presented and with lots of variety and choices changing on different days. The main restaurant is huge and stylish, with spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas that make meals very pleasant. Staff throughout the hotel were smart, friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to help. The service was faultless. There are plenty of coach trips, and small picturesque towns such as Afytos are reachable by taxi from the hotel. We really didn’t want to leave and only wish we’d stayed longer. Would we come back? Absolutely.

The staff were always smiling, friendly and helpful, and the hotel is especially well suited to families travelling with children. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The beach and pools were clean and beautiful, great for relaxing or a family holiday. The food was absolutely delicious, among the best hotel meals we’ve had in Greece, despite having stayed in many hotels there.

The staff were the highlight for us. Every person we dealt with each day went beyond what was expected and made us feel welcome. By the time we left, it felt like we’d made new friends. That care extended to the hardworking kitchen and serving staff too. Maybe people are especially full of energy early in the season, but we think the personalities here will keep that level of hospitality going week after week. Special thanks to Dimitria, Despina, Aggelos, Kleon, Kim, Abhie, Georgios, whose grilling was wonderful, Georgia, Athanasia, and Christina. You made our mealtimes memorable and always took the time to greet us. All the best for the season, and we hope to visit again soon. We visited in early to mid May for a week, well outside peak season. We’ve been coming to Greece twice a year for as long as we can remember, visiting islands large and small and trying somewhere different each time. So far, Kassandra Palace has been the best Greek holiday resort we’ve experienced, on every front. The grounds are enormous and beautifully landscaped, with plenty of space for everyone. Sun loungers stretch from the water’s edge back across the lawns towards the hotel, with hammocks and bean bag seating along the way. The gardens are so well kept you could almost miss the sea, which was among the cleanest and clearest water I’ve ever swum in. The spacious ground floor seems to have been recently renovated in a minimalist modern style, opening onto the grounds. There are two tennis courts and a lovely little chapel near the car park, which we visited every day. Downstairs are the bar, games room, spa and pool. We were surprised that tennis, the pool and smaller activities like table tennis were free. You just have to book a timeslot in advance, which was refreshing after resorts that charge extra for those things. Breakfast and dinner in the dining hall really stood out. We’ve stayed at resorts said to have TUI Platinum status, such as the Plantanista in Kos, which was supposedly rated the same but offered only a tiny fraction of what we found here and wasn’t nearly as good. Kassandra Palace was miles ahead of anywhere we’d visited for buffet meals. There was so much food that, as an athlete, I had to be careful not to overeat. The dessert table was dangerously good, and some nights I gave in and ate plates of cake, then had to train twice as hard the next day to burn it off. Another lovely surprise was a free water station with glasses at dinner. Resorts usually make diners pay for drinks, so even though we ordered other drinks, it was nice to have water without a charge.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. The souvenir shop had lovely gifts at great prices, and the salesgirl was friendly, kind and always happy to help us. The hotel was perfect and the food delicious. Everything was excellent!
