Sueno Beach Hotel

We finally left both rooms on day four, after another 3-4 hours without power. That was enough for us. There were seven of us, and Sueno beach hotel ruined our Greece vacation. Polychrono itself is an amazing place, with great restaurants, bars, beaches, and a lively location. The hotel was a very different story. We had booked seven days, but stayed only four. On three of those days, the electricity went off for more than three hours each time. After a lot of discussion and my intervention, someone would come to fix it, but the power would fail again easily. We were told not to use the stove and shower boiler together, and really couldn't use one room utility alongside another. This was happening to a family with a five-month-old baby. Each time the power went out, I spent an hour on the phone with hotel staff trying to sort out the recurring issue. They were very reluctant to move us to another room. The staff were polite, but completely unable to help since they weren't allowed to make decisions. Everything in the room was old and overused, so things broke easily. We also rented a second room for another family. We asked in advance to change its dates, and the hotel confirmed there would be no problem. In reality, our friends were charged the full original booking price for that room. The hotel flatly lied to me, and charged the second room in full.

Our room was clean and brand new, and the hotel also has its own pool and parking. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, doing all they could to make us feel at home. It’s definitely worth a visit. And if you’re traveling with a dog, they’re pet-friendly too.

We really liked it. The hotel is close to the beach, with clean rooms that have a kitchen and a large terrace. May prices are excellent, and the service was excellent too.

The kitchen could use a bit of updating. Otherwise, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the hotel is near the beach. Bars and shops are close by, but it’s nice and quiet at night.
