The accommodation was a huge disappointment, so don’t judge it by the bar’s high ratings. Our room looked nothing like the pictures. We’d booked a sea view, but there wasn’t one, the bed felt like hard springs, and there was only one tiny glazed window. It was outdated, and the garden looked like a cemetery. The listing made it seem connected to the beach bar, but it isn’t. After 37 hours of travel, we arrived around 10:30pm, took one look, and found another hotel. We got no refund or anything. We feel scammed.

The rooms were cleaned and the towels changed every day, which was great. The food was amazing, the cocktails were great, and service was fast. Everyone was so friendly that my friends and I felt at home after three days. We rented a room from strangers and somehow ended up with a little family. I loved Cubaneros and would come back without a second thought. 100% recommend!

We spent five nights at Cubaneros Holiday Inn and were welcomed with a warm smile. The colorful decor, greenery, and tropical flowers gave the place a Caribbean feel. Our room was clean and beautifully furnished, with a lovely flower garden. The bar is a minute’s walk away, with excellent coffee, a beautiful sea view, and the sound of the waves. The buffet had a mix of dishes, all full of flavor, and the bar’s signature cocktails were made with real flair. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Cubaneros Holiday Inn made for a joyful, relaxing stay in Zakynthos.

We were told fresh water would be left in the room each day, but despite asking several times, we never got any because they said it was “finished.” The room was too small for three people, and the photos made it look cleaner and bigger than it was. The cleaner came into the room every day without knocking. The whole “hotel” felt very run-down, apart from the bar, which has been nicely restored. Several staff came across as cheeky and unmotivated. It’s a no-go for us, and we won’t return. Absolutely not recommendable.

My buddy and I stayed here and would definitely recommend it. The location is right by the beach, with parking in front of the rooms. A few meters away is the owners’ beach bar, which serves great cocktails and is one of the best on Laganas Beach. We rented one of their boats, no licence needed, and used it to visit some amazing beaches. The owners were really friendly and happy to help with our requests.
