Dados Hotel

Every part of the hotel was excellent from arrival to departure. All the staff, including reception, bar, kitchen, and housekeeping, were efficient and really friendly. It’s easy to get around with a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Room 219 is about 12 steps from the bar and even closer to the pool. Prices were much like other places in Laganas. I’d definitely recommend it.

My wife and I spent a week at the Dados Hotel. She uses a wheelchair, so we’d asked for a ground floor room, but when we arrived late they only had one on the first floor. They apologized and said they’d try to move us in the morning. The room turned out to be brilliant, overlooking the pool, so we decided to stay put. After check-in we went to the bar, where Tony was a great barman and really knows his job. Since the hotel supermarket was shut, he gave us two litres of water and a carton of milk. The pool area was immaculate, and the pool itself was a great size for swimming or playing, from 0.45m to 1.75m deep. The sunbeds were in good condition and available all day. Bar snacks and meals were excellent quality, well priced, and served well. Our room was cleaned daily, beds made, towels changed, and floors mopped. It was basic, with a tiny TV that looked odd in the big room, and a small kitchenette, but it had everything to cook if you wanted. We don’t cook on holiday, so it was just right for showering, changing, and sleeping. The main strip is a 10 minute walk, with lots of restaurants, bars, and clubs. We ate out every night and every meal was 10/10. Great location, lovely staff, and we WILL stay again.

Just a standard hotel, very close to the strip, with friendly staff. Tony, ameliano (Alex), and another young barman were lovely. One thing to budget for is the A/C, it costs €10 euro per night. Every hotel will probably charge extra for it when you arrive, so save the money if you don’t want to suffer in the heat. If you’re not into partying, this probably isn’t the place for you. Most guests are around 17-20 and stay up making noise until who knows when. Cleaners came every three days for us, while friends in another room only had their room cleaned once and got fresh towels. It was a half decent hotel otherwise, and I’ll definitely miss it. Amazing first girls holiday. YAMAS BOSHHH!!!

I booked a week here on my own, just a week before the trip, and wasn’t disappointed. My room was clean and had everything I needed. The fridge and hob were ideal since I didn’t want to spend much eating out. Rooms were checked and cleaned daily, and the maid was lovely. Staff were welcoming and answered my questions both by email before the trip and in person. The bar had loads of drink choices, and the staff were amazing. I only ate there once, on my last day, and wish I’d gone more often. There’s a supermarket downstairs with everything I needed, plus a large Spar about 10 minutes away for groceries. The location is excellent, two minutes from Laganas beach and near great restaurants I went to many times. I didn’t visit the strip or clubs alone, but walking past, it looked lively and fun. The hotel itself was never rowdy or too loud. Despite Laganas being known as a party resort, I felt very safe and relaxed the whole time. The trip gave me more confidence to travel solo, and I’ll 100% be back next year with friends for a girls holiday!
