La Curva Villa Zakynthos

We were already home for a week and still wished we were back at Villa La Curva. The website photos really don't show how lovely it is. Our little girl even told her Nan and Grandad on day two that we'd found a new house. We didn't want to leave and will definitely return. Yannis was a wonderful host. He lived next door but never intruded, and was quick to answer questions and share suggestions. He arranged a private chef for one night, which became a special family memory, and a masseuse who came to the villa to give a couple of us massages. His restaurant and takeaway tips were great, especially Panos Tavern for delivery and Orient Garden Chinese, just a short walk away. We also appreciated the wine and homemade Galaktoboureko dessert he gave us. The layout made it easy to spend time together, from breakfast under the poolside pergola to drinks at the kitchen island while someone cooked, but there were also quiet spots indoors and out. The kitchen was very well equipped. The villa is tastefully decorated, with comfort in mind. Bedrooms are roomy, beds and furniture comfortable, and storage plentiful. The master suite has a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite with both a shower and bath. There was even room for an extra bed, which Yannis offered to prepare if our daughter needed it. The pool was a highlight, with plenty of loungers to follow the sun and a hammock for shade or an afternoon nap. The villa and grounds were spotless, with a housekeeper coming every other day. Security felt excellent, with locked outside gates, electric shutters on the doors and windows, and a perimeter alarm that we could control ourselves. Bars and restaurants are only a few minutes' walk away, yet the villa stays peaceful. A Spar is about ten minutes on foot, and a large Lidl is around a ten-minute taxi ride away. We had the best time and can't recommend it enough. Thanks, Yannis, for sharing your lovely home and being so kind to us.

We hardly noticed the noise from the party road, even though it's just over a block away and you can hear it carry. It never kept us from sleeping. Inside, the house was beautiful and spotless, and outside there was a pool, ping pong table, hammock, and lots of comfortable places to lounge. The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and keen to offer tips to make the holiday better. It's an incredible house with everything you'd want for a luxury break.

We spent five nights here for a bachelor party, and the villa looked just like the photos. It was so impressive that we only really believed it once we saw it ourselves. The landlord was very helpful and let me leave my luggage at his place after checkout until my flight, so I could spend the extra time at the beach. I'm already thinking about coming back next year and showing my family and friends photos of the luxury villa.

The owner was always ready to help, whether with directions or suggestions for great places to visit and tavernas. The villa itself is amazing, and the slogan really fits: "come and live in luxury!" Unforgettable stay. I'd return as soon as I can. Best place in all of Greece.
