The buffet breakfast and dinner were good, and the staff were polite and spoke English. I stayed five days, and the room was clean with the bedding changed twice. The studio slept three and had more comforts than I expected: nice mattresses, plenty of plugs, a fridge, kettle, a good shower and toilet, air-conditioning included in the price, car parking, free WiFi, and, if I recall, a smart TV. The swimming pool was amazing. A pleasant stay, highly recommend!

The good parts were the location, reasonably good food, apartment size, pool, helpful and friendly staff, clean room, and quiet surroundings in June. A few things could be better. There wasn’t much food variety, with two different dishes using aubergine, and the kitchenette lacked enough dishes for three people. There was no sponge or dishwasher, and no shampoo or body wash. The gap under the door let mosquitoes in, and cream or spray didn’t work, so buy an electric repellent. Mosquito marks dirtied the walls. The hot water was a problem even after we reported it: it ran for a few minutes, then stayed cold for 5 to 15 minutes. Air conditioning costs 10 euros a day, though you need it in the hot months. WiFi is 10 euros a week per device, but our mobile signal was good on the balcony and outside.

I’d seen several negative reviews before booking and was a bit unsure, but when I arrived, none of them matched what I experienced. The rooms, bathrooms, and terraces were spacious and very clean. Over my seven nights, they changed the towels and bed linens every day. The restaurant had lots of tasty, well-prepared options, and the staff were consistently attentive and helpful. Mosquitoes are common across the island, but the electric repellent worked very well. The hotel is 2.7 km from the beach. That was fine for me because there’s a nearby bus stop with regular service. Many thanks to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable.

The pool worked well for our younger children, with shallow water and plenty of sunbeds around it. The reception staff were especially helpful, spoke perfect English, and could arrange trips and pickups. We found it better to book through them than through the holiday provider's reps, though most trips needed to be paid for in cash. The hotel itself was clean, welcoming, and nicely presented. It is a fair way from the lively end of town, which didn't suit us perfectly, but that really depends on the kind of holiday you want. We had a lovely stay.
