The standout is the incredible view over Lakka bay, and in our experience, having stayed in Gaios as well, the value here was far better than anywhere else. Nikos, the owner, was friendly and nice. The room was very clean, with a full kitchen except for an oven, plus a microwave. It’s a 2 min walk to Lakka, 2-5 min to two beaches, 5 min to the bus stop, and 5-7 min to a good grocery store. The bus works well and can take you to any of the three major towns, Gaios, Loggos and black to Lakka. When you arrive, you can drive almost to the entrance of the stairway, next to Giappy, as close as a car can get. A few things to keep in mind: parking is difficult, and you’ll probably have to leave the car 5+min walk away. With a scooter or 4 wheel bike, you can park right by the property staircase. Getting in means climbing a steep staircase, which is hard with luggage, but 100% worth it for the view. There’s no shampoo or shower gel in the shower.

The owners are really hospitable, and the price is very fair. The location might be the best in Lakka. The shops around there generally have good prices for food and other things.

Room 2 has a fantastic view, the best in the city as far as I know. There’s a little kitchen and a balcony, plus they even left a welcome can of beer. A really nice hotel, and thank you for being so hospitable. You’re amazing.

The accommodation was clean, and the view was excellent. But the room is hard to reach by car, so you have to haul your luggage up hills and stairs, and parking is difficult to find. There’s no soundproofing, and we heard quite a bit from the room next door. The owner was unfriendly. For the price, the amenities didn’t measure up. It was very expensive, like the rest of the island.
