The location made it easy to reach beautiful beaches, and Lindos village is only a few kilometres away. We spent four nights at Rodia House in September 2017, and it was the perfect choice for our Rhodes trip. The owners were friendly and keen to welcome guests, and their English was good. The house has been recently renovated while keeping the traditional style of old Greek homes, with modern comforts too. I especially liked the big shower. Highly recommended!

The patio and barbecue were lovely, and the hosts had thought of details like supplying beach towels. Inside, the kitchen is spacious and gorgeous. It’s a newly restored historic house, with good appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. One of the most comfortable holiday homes I’ve stayed in.

We only stayed a couple of nights and wished we could have stayed longer. There’s plenty of room, and the owners are friendly and happy to point you toward nearby spots, including some of the island’s less explored beaches. Whether you’re a couple or travelling with family, have dinner in the courtyard. With that lovely Greek weather, it’s an experience you’ll miss afterwards.

Gerry and Dimi picked me up at the airport, and I really enjoyed the ride. It made the welcome feel personal, and they were great company. At the house they showed me around, and the place was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Everything was perfect, and I couldn’t have been happier. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but Rodia House!

The owners made us feel so welcome and hospitable, and we wanted to thank them for such a memorable stay. This is a restored stone family home in a village, a lovely way to experience the culture of this beautiful island. The house is comfortable and beautiful, and the village is too.
