Achillion Hotel

The location was ideal for our trip through to Athens, and the price was cheap. Traffic in the city is intense, and our room on the third floor faced the main street, so it was a bit noisy. The room itself was small but tidy, typical Greek accommodation, and parking was available, though you can only reach it from behind the building. If you're driving, you can't stop at the front entrance. Right across from the hotel there are three different terraces for food or drinks. From our balcony we could see the top of Metropolitan Church of Saint Achilles, beautifully lit at night. Breakfast was OK for the one occasion.

For the price, this was excellent value. The location is right in the city centre, the staff are very friendly, and breakfast included local products. There was always car parking available.

The receptionists were good people and helped us find the right room, giving us the type we preferred, quiet and on a high floor. The room and breakfast were OK, as were the services in general, much like you'd expect at any three-star hotel.

It's in a good central spot, close to Alkazar park and the local market. The hotel was decent, though the rooms feel a bit old and could use renovation. It may be somewhat overpriced.
