Allure Central Boutique Hotel

After the long trip from the USA via Athens airport, this was a comfortable place for our group to rest before our Ionian charter boat trip. The staff were welcoming, and Lefkada was a charming town to explore on foot, with plenty of good restaurants and shops.

We’d happily stay again. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the hotel is only a short walk from the Lefkada bus stop and about five minutes from Main Street. We first had a standard room that was a bit scuffed and had lights that didn’t work, so we upgraded after arriving and had a much better stay. Even so, it’s good value.

The reception team were excellent, very helpful, and gave us good suggestions for places to eat and visit. The hotel is central, but the Deluxe room on the first floor felt tired in places. The metal outdoor chair in the room was rusty, and the bathroom taps, sinks, and shower were corroded. The air conditioning barely cooled the room by four degrees overnight, leaving it very uncomfortable. Perhaps the old system was the problem. The safe was defective and awkwardly placed at the back of the wardrobe at floor level, so using it meant getting down on hands and knees. This certainly didn’t feel like a luxury boutique hotel.

For the two days we actually stayed here, everything was just right: a great room, friendly and helpful staff, and loads of recommendations. The location is handy, right by the bus stop and the main row of restaurants and shops. Our booking.com reservation was cancelled while we were flying to Lefkada, but the hotel contacted us and helped arrange somewhere for the first few nights before we returned. I’d definitely recommend staying here in lefkada.
