Marina's Rooms

I sent the money for my reservation, but received no receipt. The owner even asked me not to make the transfer look like a booking transaction. I still want the receipt, or my money returned. I had asked to move my dates two days later, and saw the room was available then. I said the change would be fine only if nobody had booked the room the night before, so the owner wouldn't lose money. Instead, she tried to get me to pay for both the original and new dates, and offered a room discount, which wasn't what I was asking for. She either didn't understand or didn't want to, and started shouting at me on the phone. It wasn't because the change was difficult. She kept the full amount I had paid. I guess she's friendly only when it suits her. After that, I decided not to go to the island at all. I wouldn't want to deal with people who behave like that.

Tiny rooms, dirty, and the wiring didn't feel safe. Way too expensive. Avoid.

The street noise didn't put me off, I'll definitely come back. The view was amazing, Marina was lovely, and I felt at home. The room was spotless, and the sunset was beautiful!

Watch out. She cancelled your room without you asking, kept your money, and wouldn't refund it under her no-refund policy.
