We've stayed here several times and enjoy it just as much each time. The rooms are plain and clean, which suits us, and Dina keeps them tidy. Taxiarhia is a lovely hostess. She welcomes us with coffee and cake, and the meals are good too. We couldn't stay longer this year, but we'll be back!

We let them know our arrival and ferry time by email, and a lovely woman met us at the port. On the drive, she pointed out what the town has to offer. At the accommodation, she gave us water and delicious homemade cake. An hour or two later, she served us octopus stew with potatoes, and wow, what a taste. The room is clean and has what you need for a good night's sleep. The bathroom is small, but clean and adequate. We're not in Greece to stay indoors all day. This is Greek hospitality at its best, genuine FILOTIMO. Lovely people and a lovely place. I can't understand people who expect five-star stays on a two-star budget. If there's a problem, tell the owner and let them try to fix it. Don't disrespect their hard work with a bad review. This is their livelihood.

Taxiarhia, the owner, was kind, respectful, and generous, bringing us food treats every day. The place is very clean, and its location is handy for the mini market and close to the port. I'd definitely recommend it. Our double room was a little small and the facilities were old, but that wasn't a big problem in the end. It was clean, which left a really good impression. I'd be happy to return and book Miramare again!

It's easy to reach town and the harbour from this quiet spot. My en suite room was spotless, had everything I needed, and came with a large balcony. Taxiarchia was cheerful, kind, and helpful, and she generously shared cake and food during my stay. I've stayed in plenty of places across the Greek islands, but Miramare and Taxiarchia are my favorites. I'll come back to Lipsi and stay at Miramare again.
