The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was what I’ve unfortunately come to expect from hotels in Greece: a few kinds of salami, egg, some feta cheese, and marmalade. The bread was excellent, though. The room was clean and okay for a one-night stay, but the beds weren’t very good. There’s a small pool in front of the hotel, but it didn’t look clean enough to inspire confidence.

We had a big, beautiful room with a balcony, TV, refrigerator, kettle, cups, and free towels, soap, and paper. It was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well, which matters in such a hot season. The pool was clean and swimming there was as nice as in the sea. The hotel is an easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach, with lovely views of the sea and mountains. Staff were friendly and polite, and cooked us tasty breakfasts and dinners throughout our vacation. I’m so glad we spent our holiday at Hotel Metropole. Thank you, and good luck with your family business.

The breakfast was stale and the same each day, and there was mold everywhere. The host was rude and the staff were very unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The place was clean, but the owner was rude and impolite. Breakfast was identical each day, and I didn’t like it. The owner wanted everyone to be quiet all the time. I wouldn’t recommend it for small children. Terrible owner.
