Priona Rooms

When our car broke down late at night, the owners helped us find a mechanic. They were flexible, friendly and very accommodating throughout. Priona was a lucky find: peaceful, with lovely gardens and hammocks, and a stunning view of Mt. Olympus from the balcony. The beach is a ten minute walk along a tree-lined street, with daily cleaning and a very handy kitchen with a large fridge. I also loved the hot shower and using the free bikes to explore. There are gorgeous beaches, turquoise water, shops and restaurants nearby. What more could you ask for?

I love how peaceful it is here. The sea is just around the corner, reached along a forest road, and there were no mosquitoes. The place smells of the forest. Families get a huge yard with slides and swings, plus bikes to ride around and a BBQ area. The ground floor apartments have two rooms and suit a family perfectly.

We had a great holiday, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly large by the standards of Greek places I've stayed in. Kids especially liked the football pitch, while the yard also has volleyball, hammocks and play facilities for smaller children. There's a roomy shared area with a barbecue, tables and chairs, plus around five bikes that are completely free to use for the supermarket, beach or exploring this bike-friendly area. The nearest beach, Skotina, is about 500 metres away. It's a nice 10-15 minute walk in the shade of trees over 50 years old.

It's a nice place and I'd recommend it. Everything is well organized, the people are friendly, and there's hot water for showers. You can shop at a supermarket about ten minutes away. The downside is that the apartments are 15 minutes from the actual beach and there's no pool, so you'll need to drive there.
