Alkyon Apartments & Villas Hotel

Anastasia made us feel welcome right away, with homemade treats and water when we arrived, plus goodies waiting in the apartment. She also walked us through a map of the island and pointed out places worth seeing, including some hidden gems. She was a wonderful host. We had a comfortable one-bedroom apartment at Alkyon Apartments & Villas Hotel with everything we needed, and it was cleaned to a high standard each day. The complex also has a clean, well-kept pool, lots of sunbeds, and a bar area. A few restaurants and bars are within walking distance, along with nice coffee shops and bakeries. To make the most of Lefkada’s beaches, tavernas, beach bars, and boat hire, you really need a rental car. We had a wonderful holiday and would gladly recommend staying here. Thanks again, Anastasia.

Anastasia and her team looked after us so well from the warm welcome at check-in right through to leaving. She made our family feel like we were part of hers, and saying goodbye honestly felt like leaving family behind. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and cleaned every day. The hotel is small and well maintained, with a good-sized pool, parasols, and loungers. It’s also a short walk from the sea, and there’s a great bakery close by. We had a wonderful family holiday at Alkyon Hotel at the end of July and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lefkada.

There’s a seaside walking path that takes you along the water into and through Ligia, so getting around on foot is easy even though the hotel is toward the north end of town. The pool is a good size and still feels roomy when lots of guests are there. The rooms and facilities were kept so clean and in such good shape. I agree with the comments about the friendly welcome and feeling at home. This was the kindest, most pleasant hospitality we’ve had anywhere.

The hosts, Georgia, Anastasia and her brother, made us feel at home and shared great tips on tavernas, beaches for different moods, and places to see around Lefkada. The villa is also a peaceful, welcoming spot just 70 meters from the Ionian Sea. We stayed in the two-bedroom villa, a roomy two-story home with spotless interiors and very comfortable beds. It exceeded what we expected. Alkyon made a great base for exploring the island, and we left with full hearts, already hoping to return. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay, comfort, and genuine Greek hospitality.
