Thalassa Mare Villas

Thalassa Mare gave us a peaceful base for seeing the island, and we could swim in the clean, clear sea nearby when we didn't want to travel. Cafes, markets, and taverns were close enough that we didn't need a car. Lidl was 5' away by car for bigger shopping. The garden was lovely, with lots of green plants and flowers and three large shade trees. We liked sitting on the terrace among the greenery, with its table, chairs, and deckchairs. The quiet setting had birdsong, breezes, and colorful butterflies, away from the busy areas. There was room to train and run, too. We stayed in two villas, four adults and four teenagers altogether. The photos don't really show how beautiful the place is. The villas, garden, and sea nearby all exceeded our expectations. Inside, the decor was simple Mediterranean style, clean and modern, with a kitchen, crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, washing machine, and all the little things we might need. There was air conditioning, insect screens on every window, a TV, and an audio system. We didn't use the TV or wine opener, but knowing everything was there made us comfortable. Yiannis was kind and discreet, and always ready to help with information. The comfort and calm he and his family created made our holiday. We'd be very happy to return. Thank you!

A very good hotel.

Lovely place, and a great location!

We booked in February, paid the advance, and got a confirmation email. Then in May, one month before the holiday, we received an email saying all reservations were being canceled, with no explanation. The advance was returned, but by early June we had to find somewhere else to stay. Even with a confirmed booking and advance paid, you're taking a risk.
