Arsinoi Stonehouses

Anna is a lovely host, and the property is a beautiful garden with gorgeous stone houses. There’s also a large chicken coop set well away from the houses, though still close enough for a walk to see the cute chickens. Anna kindly shared some fresh, delicious eggs with us. We spent about five days in a small house for two. It was clean and well kept, with a fully equipped kitchen and a clean, new bathroom. The veranda right outside had comfy sunbeds, a stone coffee table, a dining table and chairs, and a barbecue. It was built in a way that gave us privacy and a proper chance to rest. We got more than we paid for. Would recommend.

We’ve stayed at Arsinoi stonehouses twice, in different years, while vacationing with our daughter. Anna is so friendly and helpful, and always had a treat for her. There were kittens too :) It’s near Stelakis, the island’s best fish tavern, and near a beautiful coffee place up on the hill by Iris Gold jewellery factory. Skala Marion is close as well, with my favourite little beach for children.

We went in late October and loved the place and the people running it. There were no other guests during the off-season, which meant I could explore around the studio freely. The room was cosy and clean, the kitchenette had everything I needed, and the bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed. I lit the fireplace in the living room, and there were clean barbecues ready to use outside by each studio. The owners were friendly and happy to suggest places to visit in Thassos. It’s pet friendly too. I’d happily stay again.

A lovely, peaceful and comfortable place. I’ve stayed a few times, and it’s been great every time.
