George Hotel

After 12 years, we came back for 4 days and found the same wonderful family hosting us. They understand hospitality down to the smallest details, and we had lovely conversations and a great atmosphere throughout. The place is chic and tastefully decorated, with little thoughtful touches everywhere. Breakfast was just how we like it. We’ll definitely return and warmly recommend it. We spent 5 nights at The George – Hospitality Beyond and really appreciated how peaceful it was, along with the modern design, cleanliness, and attention to detail. It’s excellent value for money, and we’d happily stay again. The location is right by the beach and the small port in Limenaria, with shops and restaurants all around. Public parking is only a few meters away. Our standard double room was modern, very clean, and comfortable. The bed and pillows were incredibly cosy, and even with sea-facing windows the room stayed pleasantly cool. Housekeeping comes daily, changing towels and arranging the bed, even if the “Do Not Disturb” sign is up, so keep that in mind if you have a preference. Mr. Ianis, the owner, was very kind and helpful, offered great recommendations when he welcomed us, and was available for questions. There’s a bar on the ground floor for coffee or a meal, at an extra cost.

The staff’s smiles were everywhere, and if anything left a bad impression, it would have been outside the hotel, maybe even outside Limenaria itself. George, we haven’t forgotten you either. We know you’re the one keeping everything running smoothly. We had six unforgettable days. If you believe in global warming, leave your car at the Marina, everything is just a stone’s throw away. The hotel clearly puts cleanliness first, and breakfast is more than just something listed in the offer. Special thanks to the chef, who never let us down and made the eggs exactly how we like them.

My room had everything I needed to unwind and felt cosy too. It’d be a great place for a getaway, or even just to come for a good meal. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.
