Triada Hotel

The owner was nice, the location was very good, and the room got cleaned every day. For what we paid, everything was okay. Still, the bed was small and the room and building felt very dated and gloomy. Walking in was depressing. I'd have paid a bit extra for somewhere nicer.

There's a small balcony in every room, and the rooms smell nice. Cleaning is done daily, which I really liked. The furniture looks like it's from the 80s or 90s, so the place could use renovation, but it was very clean. A/C worked, there's an elevator and plenty of parking. The guy at reception was extremely friendly and approachable, and gave helpful tips about local points of interest.

The rooms are clean, but the air conditioners were very dusty and didn't work properly. They're small rooms in an old hotel that hasn't been updated, and breakfast didn't have enough variety. Maybe it was highly rated back in the 1990s. Hopefully the new manager improves the service quality next year.

For the price, this is definitely a good value. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the small rooms are very clean. Being right in town also makes it easy to get to restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was quite weak this year, though. It was much better two years ago, so I hope the owners address that.
