Villa Giannis

The location is great, with a fabulous bakery just across the road and the seafront 100 metres away. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed ourselves. I’ve known the area for 30 years and was lucky enough to live there, so I know what a great resort it is. We stayed for two weeks in August 22, two adults and a child. The room was adequate, with a king-size bed and a single. Maid service wasn’t daily, so you need to take out your rubbish. That was fine since there’s a bin at the front, but the room could have used a sweep. Sand came in from the beach each day, and I’d have swept it myself if there’d been a brush. The bedding was changed twice during our stay, and I think it could have been changed once more. Towels were changed more often. There’s no kitchen sink or hob, just a kettle, so we washed up in the bathroom sink. It wasn’t a big deal, just something to adapt to. We bought sharp knives and left them in the apartment because the cutlery wasn’t sharp enough to cut melon. Maria met us on arrival, helped with our luggage, and explained the safe and air-con charges. Air conditioning was 7 euros a day. We also asked for help after two days without hot water, and the problem was fixed after we messaged the hotel. Nice, comfortable accommodation, and I’d go back.

The sea is about 20 metres down the street, and this is part of Sunray Hotel, which is around 200 metres away. The pool is only there, and air conditioning costs extra. It’s quite a nice place, though not very quiet. I assume someone is building a house next door, so that may only be temporary. You can also hear the road, which isn’t far away.

The location is fantastic, with the beach and bars just two minutes away. There’s a lovely bakery across the road and a supermarket too. You can use the pool at the Sun Ray sister hotel, though you have everything you need right on the doorstep. The room was great and cleaned every day. Highly recommended.

There’s a great bakery across the road selling amazing buns, and this place is right beside all the amenities. It’s part of the larger Sunray hotel. Our stay was great, and the accommodation was nicely decorated and very clean.
