Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel

The location is a 10/10, with the beach, bars and shops all within walking distance. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to return next year. Our half-board meals were lovely, with plenty to choose from, and the steak night was outstanding for both food and service. A special thanks to the bar manager :). The pool was clean and there were no problems getting sunbeds. Housekeeping came daily, and the bar staff were always smiling and welcoming. Everyone was polite and happy to help. When we asked for a bigger room, we were moved the next day to one with a lovely sea view. Thanks to all the hotel staff for their hospitality.

The one thing I missed was a private beach. Be careful at the nearby shore: it’s mostly rocky, with large and small stones, and it can be hard to find a safe way into the water. Apart from that, we had a peaceful, restful stay. The whole property was very clean and well kept, especially the pool area. Service was friendly, attentive and ready to help, and our rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. Wine tastings and food masterclasses made the evenings special, while the aqua gym trainer brought great energy. A lovely place for comfort, good service and activities.

The hotel has a relaxing scent in the lobby, and even the elevator plays Greek music. My room was cosy and quiet, with a nice view of the street and beach, and it was kept tidy and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and hospitable, and the food was well cooked and served. There was something on every day, like Greek dancing or wine tasting. It’s just a three minute walk to the beach, with local tavernas, bars, car rentals and excursions close by. I stayed October 06-11 and couldn’t have had a better holiday. Thanks to Albatros! I also recommend the spa. I went twice for a sauna and massage, and the relaxing feel started as soon as I entered. Afterwards they took me to a relaxation room with drinks.

We were checked in straight away when we arrived, and the staff were polite, smiling and quick to sort out any questions. The grounds are large and beautiful, and our bright, spacious room was cleaned every day, including washed floors and fresh towels. Toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were supplied. The beach is right in front, and there are plenty of comfortable loungers by the pools. Weekdays brought various entertainment shows. The food was tasty, with a different menu every day and enough to keep you full. There’s also a spa for an extra charge. We came away with a very good impression and would recommend the hotel.
